In mid August there were some pretty severe thunderstorms
that dumped five or six inches of rain in eastern Randall county. The park hosts warned me about
hiking along trails and waterways which was silly of them. I listened anyway and got this shot.
My luck, if I'd ran off on some other trail, I may not have gotten this photograph, which was taken just
across the road from the Ampitheatre
